It seems impossible to find a high quality digital camera that is fun to carry around casually and doesn't cost $1,500. I found a Ricoh GXR from 2009 on eBay for $200 and I'm testing it out. Truthfully, I would rather have a 24mp sensor. The filmic quality is nice but I don't want an obviously vintage look. People say that gear doesn't matter as much as your pictures but I don't agree.
